Maine Moose
Shortly after I started snowmobiling in and around Kokadjo I came across a moose in the trail. After waiting until the moose had left the trail we slowly moved past it. The moose decided it would rather be on the trail moving quickly than off the trail slogging through the snow.
The next year a moose decided to come out of the woods and onto the road. Luckily it was a small moose and a glancing blow on my truck.
Here’s the moose. Despite being a young moose and loosing most of the right side ribcage to fractured bones we got 280 pounds of moose meat.
